MEGA HOME IMPROVEMENT PICKED
FOR TOP 200 SPECIALTY REMODELERS
IN THE COUNTRY

MEGA Home Improvement of Algonquin was selected by Qualified Remodeler Magazine to be included on their first annual list of the Top 200 Specialty Remodeling companies nationwide.

Qualified Remodeler, for over 30 years, has been the go-to source for news, products and business trends. For more than 25 years they have tracked the progress of the largest specialty firms in the annual listing of the Top 500 remodeling companies. Because of the increasing interest in specialty remodeling, Qualified Remodeler for the first time have compiled and published the largest listing of specialty remodelers. The Specialty 200.

MEGA Home Improvement is in this growing and already huge segment that is estimated to represent 20 percent of the overall remodeling market in 2003, according to data from Harvard University’s Joint Center for Housing Studies’ Remodeling Futures program. The Top 200 list is comprised of those companies that focus on window replacements, siding, roofing and doors, as well as decks and sunrooms. MEGA is one of the several companies on the list who also offer additional services.

Total dollar volume from professionally installed decks/porches, windows/doors, siding and roofing projects totaled $21.36 billion in 2003. The firms that comprise the first Qualified Remodeler Specialty 200 list tallied 11.14 percent of that total.
