We are
an established, (30 years) growing home improvement
organization located in the far northwest suburbs of
Chicago, and recognized as being the finest company in our
industry. We are seeking a service technician/handyman
with the skills to deliver the excellence in service that
our customers deserve. This position will appeal to
you if you are a person who loves to solve a customer’s
problem from start to finish, estimate to final repair and
want to achieve exceptional personal and professional

We

clients who have problems in roofing, siding, windows
and carpentry (some plumbing and electrical may also be
needed). You will be expected to do multiple
things from identifying the problem, to writing the
contract. You will make recommendations, fix the

will give you a personal connection to them and make
them want to call us again. You will also be
expected to prioritize work and adjust your schedule
accordingly and recognize opportunities to sell and

Require:
- A

- The
ideal candidate will have 2+ years experience handling
home repairs of all types. You must be especially
skilled in roofing, siding, windows and carpentry.
You also need basic computer skills. Experience
working in a scheduling data base, i.e. GoldMine, would
be a plus. A background or interest in sales would
be another plus.
- A
career minded person with a strong positive outlook and
an upbeat attitude who can see both the near term and
long view. Someone who is highly organized, knows
how to prioritize, is respectful, patient and a good
listener. A problem solver, who can think on
his/her feet, is flexible, open to changes and works
well independently and as part of a team. Someone
with a whatever-it-takes attitude who can make quick,
accountable decisions and who is always open to creating
new systems and better procedures when noticing an area
that can be improved.
